The 31-year-old’s contract at Anfield expires at the end of the campaign, and the report claims there appears to be no sign of the Reds giving him an extension.

After hearing about their links to the £110k-a-week ace, West Ham fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on their rumoured transfer target.
Some fans were particularly critical of the fact they are seemingly targeting another injury-prone player, with a few even comparing him to Jack Wilshere.
One Hammers fan in particular meanwhile insisted the signing of Lallana would perfectly fit the profile of what David Sullivan apparently wants.
On a free transfer, the Hammers could certainly do a lot worse than Lallana in terms of ability. After all, the former Southampton man has 30 goals and 31 assists in 194 Premier League games in his career.
But as mentioned before, injuries have plagued his career in recent years, with the 31-year-old missing 67 games since joining Liverpool.

And signing another injury-prone player would simply be a waste of money in terms of the wages they would have to be paying him, so it’s completely understandable why Hammers fans appear to be reluctant about their interest in him.
