Mbwana Samatta has sent an amusing message to Danny Drinkwater, after Aston Villa wished the loanee happy birthday on Instagram.
The pair both joined the Villans in January, but have had varying fortunes since arriving in terms of how things have gone on the pitch.
Drinkwater has been an unpopular figure among fans due to the performances that he has put in. This comes after just four games, in which he has struggled to get up to speed, as signified by the fact that he has been dribbled past 4 times a game on average, while making 1.3 tackles.
Alternatively, Samatta has made strides in claret and blue, having scored on his league debut, as well as scoring the team’s only goal in the 2-1 Carabao Cup final loss against Manchester City.
