da bwin: Papiss Cisse’s agent Nickolay Guido has hinted the Newcastle striker may make a summer exit amid interest from Russia.
da imperador bet: Super-rich Anzhi Makhachkala are reported to be keen on the Senegal international and have been linked with a big summer offer.
Magpies boss Alan Pardew does not want to lose Cisse – especially as he was forced to sell Demba Ba in January when Chelsea activated his release clause – and will fight to keep him.
However, Cisse’s agent has confirmed clubs are keen on his client, who wants to play in Europe once again next season.
“Russian clubs have shown interest in Papiss at the same time, but I don’t want to name the names of the clubs as it wouldn’t be a correct step from me,” said Guido.
“Anzhi have the advantage that they could qualify for the Europa League and the Senegalese striker’s dream has been to show his qualities in Europe and it doesn’t seem possible with Newcastle in the near future.”
Reports say Anzhi are weighing up making an offer in the region of £15m but Magpies owner Mike Ashley would not entertain bids of that figure, instead only considering offers upwards of £25m for a player who still has four years left on his contract.
